Week 1 → Monday, afternoon

( You would think this talk about murder and motives and blood needing to be spilled would get Urashima to lock his door but nope! His door is completely unlocked on the first day of the week but after Cheshire casually lets himself in and gives Urashima a heart attack, he'll consider locking it from now on, )

A-aah! ( LOOK, HE HAS HIS SWORD DRAWN AND EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW? WHAT HE HECK, CHESHIRE? He'll lower his sword when he sees who it is but still ) What're you doing!?

I'm bored. [He ignores the sword and walks in to sit on the kid's bed.]

You could have at least knocked!

( And now Cheshire's taken over his bed? What's happening?! )

[Cheshire gets up, goes outside the door, and knocks before walking in, going to his bed and announcing,] I'm bored.

[minogame]

( What's happening. Did he just-- )

A-ah... That's not what I mean! ( But he's given up? ) What am I supposed to do about that? Do you want to play a game or something...?

Hmmm, [He tilts his head,] What game?

[minogame]

( Oh. )

I don't know? I play tag with the tantou back home... or pretend with them. Is there something you like to play, Mr. Cheshire?

[Fetch, chase the ribbon] I don't know what those are.

[minogame]

Really?

( He crosses his arms. )

Well, normally there's someone who is "it" and everyone runs away from them because if they're tagged, they'll become "it." Then everyone has to run away from that person instead. It's fun.

Oh.

It. Could be fun. Are you fast?

[minogame]

( That's a tricky question ok... slowest sword in his class but still faster than half the other swords??? )

I'm pretty fast! We can try a game if you want!

[Cheshire stretches.] So, I just need to catch you?

[minogame]

No, no! First you gotta... ( And then he'll lunge at Cheshire, hand stretched, ) --tag you!

"It!"

( And he'll scurry to the other side of the room. There isn't a lot of room to really play tag but if he's just teaching how to play then it's okay, right? )

[Hopefully Urashima didn't mind his room getting messed up, because Cheshire isn't fooling around. He is considerate enough to keep his fingers curled so he doesn't scratch the hell out of Urashima as he dives across the room for him]

( He doesn't mind because hes' a young and spoiled spirit that couldn't care for huge messes in a room but he's also a good spirit... so he'll clean it up later or else he'll hear his brothers scolding him in his head all day. And with how time is now, they'll scold him for 5 years.

Urashima lets out playful yell when Cheshire comes for him! He's kind of a cornered turtle sword and he leans back against the corner, hands up in a disarming manner, and laughs awkwardly at Cheshire, )

Okay, okay! You got me, you got me! Now you have to say "tag."

Tag. [Cheshire bounds away, over all the furniture rather than around it, trying to predict where Urashima is going to run and slipping out of the way. Anyone who hears them might thing there's a fight going on.]

[minogame]

( Well apparently the rooms are sound proof which is something they will learn about when they reflect on this in future trials!!!! )

Hey, hey, don't break anything...! We'll get in trouble!

( He doesn't want to get in trouble! Don't break anything! But he will try to get around the beds and what not to try and catch Cheshire. )

I'll catch you!

[Cheshire will continue to use the furniture to leap across, but he'll be considerably more careful about them now. He keeps it up for a while, but if it seems like Urashima isn't going to catch him on his own, he'll slow down a bit.]

[minogame]

( He loves to play these games but the sad truth is he isn't the best. That's okay though because he still has fun.

What a good cat, though! Once Cheshire has slowed down, Urashima will reach out and grab a piece of his scarf with the very tips of his fingers and not let go. )

I got you! Tag, tag!

[Cheshire pouts, bells ringing,] Better run!

[minogame]

One more time! But then you have to help me pick up!

( He's a good spirit... he doesn't like messy rooms, okay. He's been lovingly trained in his army and has habits to prove it. And he's already dashing across the room, rolling over the top of a bed to escape... )

[Cheshire bounds after him, but moves slower, toying with Urashima so the game can last longer. Finally Cheshire goes for the 'kill' when he notices a chance to pounce on Urashima and knock him onto the bed. When he connects he declares,] Tag!

[minogame]

( Urashima's all laughs. He's used to getting caught, even back home where he can't keep up or away from the tantou spirits that usually play with him. He's a little tired, if only because the warping of time is beginning to start to take its toll. )

Did you have fun?

( Since Cheshire is only here because he's bored.... )
