Week 4 → Tuesday (Backdated)

( Okay so at this point Urashima is pretty used to having Cheshire around, let's be real. Yeah, he'll still play games with Cheshire and be a good host in his bedroom but by now, he's comfortable enough to actually do some other things while Cheshire's around. It isn't a frequent but sometimes, he's already writing in his notepad when Cheshire comes in and so Urashima just continues so he can finish what he's doing.

Today, Urashima has his notepad out but he isn't really writing in it. Instead, he's just tapping at it with his pen anxiously and making frustrated faces. He's been pretty on edge since the motive was been announced and while it isn't as bad as when he's around others... well, he's comfortable enough to look troubled if it's just Cheshire. )

[Cheshire never seems to mind Urashima finishing what he is doing, or finding something else to do instead. He currently found a way on top of Urashima's wardrobe and peers over the edge of it to Urashima as he fidgets. He has noticed his dear friend has been bothered since the announcement, though he wasn't sure if it was left over from the trial. After a while of watching quietly he finally speaks up.]

Is something wrong?

( He doesn't answer right away, opting to keep tapping at the notepad a while longer. He's comfortable around Cheshire but this is still a heavy subject for him so he frowns, debating if he should share or not so he tries to get around it, )

Do you think anyone is going to try?

( To kill to change time? )

Humans do it all the time in my world. Or try to.[He doesn't seem too bothered by that, though by now Urashima may well have gotten the sense that Cheshire doesn't really exist in the time line like Break or Gil do.]

( His eyes grow wide at that! He's pretty scandalized at the idea of people trying to change history all the time. What a taboo. )

No way! ( He can't believe it?! ) W-what happens?

They don't succeed. Not many Chains actually have that ability, and being able to use that power is another matter entirely.

[He's looking over the edge of the wardrobe,] I think Break managed to once, but I don't know the result of that. I am not really involved with the first dimension.
